Introduction

The generation of digital genomic data has been expanding at ever-increasing rates which has resulted in what seems a unordered flood of datasets unless some discipline of data management and administration can be brought to bear.

This page aims to collect all relevant data on the topic particularly in its realtion to Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data which has been particularly responsible for the glut of genomic data that we are now experiencing.

At the outset, there is a difference between data generated from samples in the lab and the data processing that then subsequently i

Literature Review

There are some overlaps between tighly integrated pipleines and data management per se, so this setion will include both.
