Mounting drives

when rebooting head nodes, shelf and storage sometimes are lost

Make sure they are uncommented in the /etc/fstab file. http://stab.st-andrews.ac.uk/wiki/index.php/Frontend_Restart


  1. The three vital LV's .. must be commented out when rebooting. Manual mount sonly.
/dev/INTERNAL/internal  /internal               ext4    defaults        1 1
/dev/SHELF/shelf        /shelf                  xfs     defaults        1 1
/dev/STORAGE/storage  /storage                xfs     defaults  1 1
mount -a
comment out agin. 
vgchange -a y STORAGE
mount /storage
