Introduction

A python library for phylogenetic tree visualisation and manipulation. Its functionality overlaps with dendropy, though it has a stronger emphasis on visualisation than the latter, and predictably, a lower emphasis on the former.

It exists in two versions: 2 and 3. Version 3 is preferable but unfortunately is not installed on the marvin cluster. For marvin, only ETE version 2 is available. However this was reciveing updates well into 2015, so is still a very capable package.
